Micleta wasn't born in a boardroom. It was born from a very cyclist obsession: keeping every bike, its history and its maintenance in one reliable place.
I'm a cyclist first. I love what it feels like out on the bike, alone or with friends: the time to think, to train your body, to prove to yourself you can take on hard challenges. In the end, it's you and the mountain. For me cycling is an experience, not just cold numbers that don't tell a story.
I'm also a software developer, happily living in Medellín. And I had the most ordinary problem: my bikes' maintenance lived in scattered phone notes and WhatsApp chats. I had no single, reliable place to know what I'd done to each bike, when, and how much it cost me.
I thought: all of this should live in one place. My bikes, their real mileage, their history, and my trusted shop — no spreadsheets, no chats, no guessing.
So I started building it. Line by line, ride by ride, testing it on my own bike. Micleta is exactly that: a tool built with a cyclist's obsession for detail, for the community that rides in this city of mountains.
